It has a base power consumption of 8 watts and provides 16 digital inputs and 16 digital outputs with output rated at 24 V, 0.5 A. The controller uses a parallel interface for master communication and supports encoder options including IndraDyn, HIPERFACE, 1 Vpp, and TTL.
Internal Product Review
The CSB01.1C-PL-ENS-EN1-NN-S-NN-FW is a Bosch Rexroth Indramat drive controller designed for single-axis operation with Parallel Interface master communication. Support for IndraDyn/HIPERFACE/1 Vpp/TTL and Resolver/HSF feedback gives this unit strong integration flexibility across motion platforms. A 16 DI + 16 DO parallel I/O complement makes this controller a very capable choice for streamlined machine interfacing.

Product Description:
The CSB01.1C-PL-ENS-EN1-NN-S-NN-FW control section is a plug-in module for the CSB Drive Controllers series manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat. Installed in a power section, it forms the logic layer that processes motion commands and handles field signals for a single servo axis in automated machinery. By combining communication interfaces, encoder evaluation, and low-level I/O on one card, it gives the drive an embedded platform for position, velocity, and torque regulation tasks. It is intended for drive assemblies in which the power section supplies the output stage while the control section manages signal processing and feedback handling.
This controller governs one axis of motion. Its standby draw is only 8 W, which helps limit heat buildup when multiple modules are installed in compact cabinets. The on-board ENS circuitry supplies 11.6 V DC at 300 mA to power feedback transducers and internal logic. Each digital output can switch loads up to 24 V / 0.5 A, and the parallel terminal block provides 16 DI + 16 DO for deterministic bit exchange with external controllers. These ratings set the electrical limits for the drive’s auxiliary power supply and wiring.
Field devices share a common control rail of 24 V DC, so no additional voltage conversion is required. Input latches accept pulses up to 110 ms, allowing synchronization with slower sensors. During power-up, the card draws a momentary 4.5 A, which should be considered when sizing circuit breakers and the supply bus. Master motion data arrive through the parallel interface, while an RS232 port supports parameter setting and service. Encoder slot one accepts IndraDyn, HIPERFACE, 1 Vpp, or TTL signals, while slot two accommodates resolver or HSF formats. This range of feedback formats allows the module to work with several common motor feedback types used in servo systems. A relay channel is rated at 24 V DC / 1 A for status control, and the module has no integrated safety option. The module occupies only 241 x 49.5 x 103 mm, enabling high-density multi-axis racks.
