The CSB01.1C-PB-ENS-ENS-L2-S-NN-FW control section is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the CSB Drive Controllers series. Integrated into an IndraDrive modular stack, this module functions as the command processor that closes the control loops for a servo axis, handles fieldbus traffic, and distributes feedback data to the motion system. In industrial automation, it provides deterministic position and torque regulation for packaging lines, handling robots, and conveyor zones.

The control logic covers one drive channel because the architecture is single-axis. Communication with cell controllers is achieved through the PROFIBUS-DP interface, and the module’s bus transceiver supports transfer rates up to 12 MBaud, allowing real-time exchange of position words and diagnostic bytes. Each digital input is designed for 24 V / 3 mA, while the transistor output stage can deliver up to 24 V / 0.5 A to operate small relays or status lamps. A dedicated relay contact rated at DC 24 V / 1 A is available to route enable signals to external interlocks.

Feedback hardware is flexible; the front panel carries 2 x IndraDyn / Hiperface / 1 Vss / TTL feedback ports, so the control section can accept resolver or incremental encoder signals without extra adapters. To energize these sensors, the board provides an encoder supply of DC 11.6 V with a continuous capacity of 300 mA. Functional safety is implemented through the Safe Torque Off circuit certified to SIL3 / cat. 3 PLe, so motor torque can be removed without switching off the main drive power. The housing occupies a depth of 103 mm, along with a width of 49.5 mm and a height of 241 mm, which supports high-density mounting inside standard control cabinets. A 15 m RS232 service port with a Mini-DIN 8-pin connector is present for service access, and serial diagnostics do not interfere with bus communication.
