The CSB01.1C-PB-ENS-EN1-L2-S-NN-FW is a modular drive controller manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the CSB Drive Controllers series. It functions as the axis-specific control section in servo drive stacks, translating motion commands from higher-level PLCs into timed current and voltage patterns for connected motors. By handling position, velocity, and torque regulation, the unit supports coordinated movement in assembly, packaging, and pick-and-place equipment, and it fits into IndraDrive platforms where compact control cards reduce cabinet depth and simplify maintenance.

The controller’s base electronics draw only 8 W, so cabinet thermal load remains low during standby. A current loop that executes every 125 µs gives the drive fine-grained torque modulation for rapidly changing loads. For fieldbus communication it integrates a PROFIBUS-DP channel that operates up to 12 MBaud, while an RS232 port is kept for service tasks. Discrete machine signals tie in through I/O that follows the IEC 61131 Type 1 level specification, with the logic rail fed externally at terminals X31.8 and X31.9. A standard front panel provides local parameter access. Internal sensor rails are separated: the ENS line offers 11.6 V DC for absolute encoders, while the HSF track outputs 8 V DC for the high-speed feedback path. Safe Torque Off is triggered with a control signal of 24 V / 3 mA, and the overall safety chain meets SIL3 / Cat. 3 PL e, allowing motor energy to be removed without external relays.
