The Bosch Rexroth Indramat CSB01.1C-PB-ENS-EN1-L1-S-NN-FW is part of the CSB Drive Controllers series and features PROFIBUS communication through a D-Sub 9-pin female connector. It supports primary encoder interfaces such as IndraDyn, HIPERFACE, 1 Vpp, and TTL, along with a secondary HSF or resolver encoder interface. The controller operates with a maximum switching frequency of 8 kHz and offers safety features such as stop category 0 and starting lockout.
Internal Product Review
The CSB01.1C-PB-ENS-EN1-L1-S-NN-FW is a Bosch Rexroth Indramat drive controller with PROFIBUS communication and a 125 µs current control cycle. Primary IndraDyn/HIPERFACE/1 Vpp/TTL feedback and secondary HSF/Resolver support make the platform especially capable in precise motion applications. A strong choice for servo systems requiring fast response and dependable encoder integration.

Product Description:
The CSB01.1C-PB-ENS-EN1-L1-S-NN-FW control section is a modular component in the CSB Drive Controllers series from Bosch Rexroth Indramat. Installed inside an IndraDrive power unit, it supervises axis commands, evaluates encoder feedback, and exchanges data with higher-level networks to operate servo or induction motors in automated cells. By separating logic from the power electronics, the module allows control functions to be handled independently of the power section, so changes to operating parameters do not require changes to the main power wiring.
I/O exchange with the host PLC occurs over PROFIBUS, and a shielded D-Sub 9-pin female connector on the front plate provides the bus connection. Inside the digital signal processor, the current regulation loop executes every 125 µs, while the gate drivers can switch up to 8 kHz to help maintain smooth motor currents. Diagnostic or holding patterns may extend to a maximum pulse width of 110 ms before the unit registers a fault. When the device is first energized, the DC-link charging path can draw an inrush of 4.5 A, so the supply protection must accommodate that peak. The housing measures 241 mm in height and 103 mm in depth, allowing it to share enclosure space with adjacent power sections and supply modules.
The feedback system is flexible because the primary interface accepts IndraDyn, HIPERFACE, 1 Vpp, or TTL encoders, while the secondary channel supports HSF or a resolver. For that resolver, the EN1 output supplies 18.2 Vpp at the 4 kHz carrier, and digital sensors on the auxiliary interface receive a stabilized 8 VDC feed. One integrated relay offers 1 N/O dry contact for status signaling. The safety function includes a starting lockout and conforms to Stop Category 0, which removes torque immediately without controlled deceleration.
