The CSB01.1C-ET-ENS-EN2-L2-S-NN-FW is a drive controller manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the CSB Drive Controllers series. Designed for industrial automation cells, the module serves as the command layer between higher-level PLCs and the power stage that energizes a servomotor. By executing closed-loop algorithms, it coordinates torque, speed, and position so a machine axis follows its programmed motion profile with repeatable accuracy. The hardware footprint is optimized for DIN rail or back-plane installation inside a control cabinet, supporting applications that require deterministic network communication and integrated safety functions.
It is configured as a Single-Axis controller, meaning all motion resources are dedicated to one mechanical drive and simplifying axis tuning. For plant networking, it offers Multi-Ethernet connectivity, so the same hardware can operate on PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, or EtherCAT without extra cards. Encoder feedback is accepted through a port that supports IndraDyn, Hiperface, 1 Vpp, 5 V TTL signals, letting the device work with analog or digital sensors. Machine safety is provided by the integrated Safe Torque Off function that removes energy from the motor. For local setup, a built-in RS232 port supplies a direct point-to-point link, while sixteen digital inputs and outputs handle real-time field signals.
A front-mounted keypad is provided, and its menu layout follows the Standard operator panel format for this series, enabling parameter entry without external tools. The controller has 1 option position, and the installed EnDat 2.1 interface card adds high-resolution feedback redundancy that complements the main encoder port. Application data and parameter files can be backed up or transferred through the MultiMediaCard slot for convenient storage and recovery. A relay output is also present for external contactors, allowing the controller to handle additional control signaling without a separate I/O module.
