The CSB01.1C-ET-ENS-EN1-NN-S-NN-FW drive controller belongs to the CSB Drive Controllers series manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat. It is a compact control section intended for cabinet mounting where it provides closed-loop regulation for servomotors used in industrial automation cells, conveyors, and processing equipment. By providing axis logic, power stage interfacing, and diagnostic functions in one module, the part serves as the command layer between a higher-level PLC and the mechanical load during normal machine operation.

The unit is engineered for single-axis operation, meaning its internal current controllers, filters, and cam functions govern one mechanical axis at a time. A Multi-Ethernet interface allows communication over EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, SERCOS over Ethernet, or EtherCAT without hardware changes, while the integrated digital I/O block and internal relay output allow direct connection of limit switches or interlocks. Setup data can be stored on a removable MultiMediaCard, and a service computer can communicate through the legacy RS232 socket. Encoder inputs accept feedback from IndraDyn Motors, so the drive reads absolute position values without external converters.

The feedback electronics also support the Hiperface protocol and process both 1 Vpp analog tracks and 5 V TTL incremental channels to accommodate third-party sensors. An option connector links the controller to existing MHD and MKD motors, and the drive can pass phase and commutation signals directly to MHD windings. The unit does not include integrated safety functions, so emergency stop or safe torque off functions must be provided externally. A standard operator panel on the front of the unit supplies numeric fault codes and basic jog keys, and the integrated relay output can forward those alarms to a control cabinet light tower or central alarm circuit.
