The CSB01.1C-CO-ENS-NNN-NN-S-NN-FW control section is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the CSB Drive Controllers series. Installed inside an IndraDrive cabinet, the board serves as the command layer that processes feedback, issues setpoint values, and supervises protective logic for industrial servo axes. By bridging fieldbus traffic with internal drive electronics, it enables precise positioning, velocity regulation, and torque limitation in automated machinery such as packaging lines, pick-and-place units, and material-handling systems.

Built with a single-axis configuration, the card governs one motor channel, which simplifies tuning and diagnostics. It mates with IndraDrive C and IndraDrive M power sections, so the same control platform can be used with compact drives and multi-axis inverters. Command and status data move across CANopen/DeviceNet, enabling coordinated motion with PLCs. Local sequencing is handled by integrated digital I/O, letting sensors or limit switches connect directly to the controller. The universal encoder port accepts IndraDyn, Hiperface, 1 Vpp, and 5 V TTL signals, permitting rotary or linear feedback without extra interface cards. Integrated safety functions are not included, so emergency stop or STO functions must be handled through external hardware.

The controller uses a MultiMediaCard to store parameter sets and operating data. A dedicated expansion bay provides one option slot, and the available functions include Encoder, Analog I/O, and Emulation for added feedback or signal handling. For local setup and service access, the unit supports RS232 communication with straightforward ASCII command sets. A standard operator panel provides local startup keys, and one relay output can pass drive status to higher-level control or safety circuits. No optional module is installed at the factory, so the bay remains open for later expansion.
