Product Description:
The CSB01.1C-CO-ENS-NNN-L2-S-NN-FW is a drive controller from Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the CSB Drive Controllers series. As a control section, it manages a single motor axis and links higher-level automation devices to IndraDrive power modules. In industrial automation lines, this unit coordinates torque, speed, and position loops so that conveying, packaging, or pick-and-place stations respond precisely to program commands. It serves as the interface between machine control logic and the power electronics that drive the connected motor.
The controller governs one mechanical line because its axis count is declared as Single-Axis. Motion commands travel over two fieldbus channels: CANopen supports distributed I/O networks, and DeviceNet supports peer connections to PLCs. A laptop can access parameters through the integrated RS232 port, while the built-in safety function, Safe Torque Off, disables power-stage gating when an emergency input is asserted. One encoder interface accepts resolver-based or digital motor feedback directly into the position loop, and one expansion slot is available for an added communication card even though the base hardware ships without an installed option.
Feedback wiring enters the unit on a connector that accepts two differential signal formats, 1 Vpp for analog sine-cosine tracks and 5 V TTL for incremental square-wave tracks. Position data can also come from Hiperface or IndraDyn multi-turn encoders, both of which are recognized automatically during operation. Program storage resides on a removable MultiMediaCard, which keeps application data separate from the main electronics and simplifies parameter handling. Machine logic can exchange start, stop, and fault bits through the onboard Digital Inputs/Outputs, and the present contact output can report status to external alarms or interlock circuits.
