The Bosch Rexroth Indramat CSB01.1C-CO-ENS-MEM-L1-S-NN-FW is a compact drive controller in the CSB Drive Controllers series. Installed beside a power section, it executes servo control, diagnostics, and fieldbus tasks for connected motors. By integrating feedback processing and device networking into a single slot module, it reduces panel space while delivering coordinated motion in automated conveyors, pick-and-place cells, and material converting machines.

This unit governs a single drive because its axis count is 1, simplifying channel assignment in multi-section cabinets. Network traffic moves through the dual-protocol bus of CANopen and DeviceNet, allowing direct exchange with PLCs that already support either standard. Machine sensors can be wired straight to the controller thanks to the integrated digital I/O block, removing the need for remote terminal strips. Position feedback from attached motors is accepted over the flexible IndraDyn, Hiperface, 1 Vpp, 5 V TTL encoder interface, so multiple common feedback formats are supported. A front-mounted slot accepts a MultiMediaCard for parameter cloning and updates.

Day-to-day interaction occurs through the standard operator panel, which presents status LEDs and basic keys for setup. An optional plug-in labeled Encoder Emulation can generate incremental square-wave signals so legacy motion controllers receive synthetic position information. The relay output is provided as an integrated contact, letting the drive switch external alarms or interlocks without extra wiring. Functional safety is delivered by Safe Torque Off, ensuring motor power is removed through hardware channels when an emergency circuit opens.
