Product Description:
The CSB01.1C-CO-ENS-MA1-NN-S-NN-FW is a drive controller module produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat in the CSB Drive Controllers series. Designed for cabinet installation alongside power sections, the unit supervises a single servo axis and supplies command signals that close the motion loop in automated equipment. Within assembly lines, packaging machines, or material-handling stations, it links higher-level PLC instructions to motor feedback, thereby enabling consistent speed, position, and torque control required for repeatable industrial processes.
The optional Analog I/O Extension adds scalable voltage or current channels for process variables and complements the integrated digital inputs and outputs. For networked control, the module supports CANopen and DeviceNet, allowing deterministic exchange of setpoints and status with distributed nodes across the machine. Axis management is limited to 1 drive, so the controller is intended for applications that need control of a single mechanical axis. Point-to-point diagnostics can be performed through the built-in RS232 port, and an onboard relay output allows direct switching of external interlocks. A standard membrane operator panel displays parameter values locally, and no dedicated safety technology is built in, so external safety relays are required when safety functions are needed.
The encoder interface accepts signals from IndraDyn Motors or Hiperface-compatible transducers, converting sinusoidal or digital feedback into position data for the control loop. Differential analog feedback at 1 Vpp or incremental pulses at 5 V TTL are both recognized without extra adapters, which gives the controller flexibility in motor selection and in the type of feedback used on the axis. A front-mounted slot for a MultiMediaCard stores axis parameters and machine-specific data in removable form. The card can remain with the module when those files need to be retained outside the control cabinet.
