The CSB01.1C-CO-ENS-MA1-L1-S-NN-FW is a drive controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the CSB Drive Controllers series. The module forms the control section of an IndraDrive system, providing closed-loop processing for torque, velocity, and position commands in industrial automation equipment such as pick-and-place axes, indexing tables, and packaging machines. Mounted on a power supply backplane, it contains the real-time processor, memory, and communication hardware needed to coordinate the motor with higher-level control systems. The standard operator panel also provides local access to parameters and diagnostic messages.

The controller is intended for a single axis, so all processing resources are focused on one motion channel for deterministic loop execution. Fieldbus traffic can be exchanged over CANopen, enabling cyclic setpoints, alarms, and configuration without additional interface cards, while a service port implemented as RS232 supports local access and parameter backups from a computer. The encoder terminal block offers one interface that conditions either 1 Vpp sinusoidal or 5 V TTL incremental signals for high-resolution feedback. Present digital I/O lines capture limit switches and start commands, and a relay output can energize contactors or brakes. An installed Analog I/O extension adds extra ±10 V or 0–20 mA process channels for drives, valves, or external measuring devices.

Nonvolatile storage is provided by a front-accessible MultiMediaCard, allowing machine data sets to be transferred between controllers without a programming tool. The feedback electronics decode Hiperface® absolute signals, and the device automatically reads motor data from IndraDyn motors to preload motor parameters. When a project uses explicit-messaging control networks, the alternative DeviceNet bus can be selected through software so the same hardware can be used in mixed-vendor machine architectures. This arrangement gives the controller flexibility for installations that use different network standards across connected equipment.
