The CLC-P02.2B-FW is a plug-in motion controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the CLC Motion Controllers series. By embedding the motion kernel on the card, it keeps high-speed interpolation and path planning close to the drives, reducing fieldbus latency and simplifying cabinet layouts. This arrangement helps the rack respond quickly to coordinated moves such as contouring, indexing, and synchronized transfer operations.

Central processing is handled by a 68EC020 microprocessor that operates at a clock frequency of 25.0 MHz, giving the controller deterministic cycle times for real-time trajectory calculations. Volatile storage is provided by 512 Kbyte of SRAM, and this memory is backed up by the +5 V logic rail that draws 800 mA.
