The CFL01.1-Y1 is an SRAM equipped function module with an 8 MB memory capacity that is battery buffered. Typically, units do not come with the features listed. The unit can operate the MTX CNC control system of a CML 40 thanks to this additional remanent memory. This additional memory also allows for filing kinematic programs in MLC systems.

The CFL01.1-Y1 is manufactured by Rexroth Bosch and made to offer a modular expansion for CML controls. It is also ideal for use in the storing kinematics and CNC programs. It is equipped with a design that provides IP20 protection. The unit is safe to touch during operation and is designed to be protected against basic rudimentary dust.  When it comes to operation, the unit can safely run at temperatures between + 5 and + 55 degrees Celsius. Operation is allowed in environments with humidity levels ranging from 5% to 95%. The unit is designed according to the UL 508 standard for safety for all industrial control equipment that is rated at 1500 volts or less.
