The CDB01.1C-SE-ENS-ENS-EN2-EN2-S1-S-NN-FW is a double-axis control section in the CDB01 series of the BASIC UNIVERSAL control section range. The Version 1 control section features the SERCOS interface, which it uses to interact with high-level control systems and the drive system components. SERCOS uses fiber optics cables and this guarantees the safe exchange of data generated real-time data with minimal wiring. Its data rate and transmission power can also be adjusted using the standard control panel of the control section. The control panel has a single-line display and performs other functions like setting the drive address and analog outputs and accessing the data memory.

With its standard encoder evaluation interfaces, the CDB01.1C-SE-ENS-ENS-EN2-EN2-S1-S-NN-FW supports the connection of encoder systems with supply voltage values of 12V and 5V. These include the encoder system of the MSK servo motors, the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with Hiperface, the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with EnDat 2.1, and Sense lines, and the 5V-TTL square-wave encoder with reference track. The safety technology module of this configurable control section model is the Safe Torque Off (STO) option with a category 3 PL e/SIL 3 rating. It has a typical inrush current rating of 6A and a maximum pulse width value of 60ms. It can be used with firmware, but this must be ordered separately.
