The Bosch CDB01.1C-S3-EN2-EN2-NNN-MA1-NN-S-NN-FW is a CDB series control section. It is part of IndraDrive drive controllers and is usually supplied as part of a complete drive controller that includes the power section and other optional modules. The power section supplies power for the basic unit of the control section and for the optional modules. The rated output of the power section is 24 Volts DC. If supplied as a separate unit, the control section needs to be mounted on the power section. This mounting must only be done by trained professionals. Installation orientation of the control section is vertical and its dimension are 322.6 x 103 x 49.5 millimeters. The CDB01.1C-S3-EN2-EN2-NNN-MA1-NN-S-NN-FW dissipates heat inside cabinet where it is mounted. The cool air enters at the bottom side and heated air exits at the top side.

Large cabinets or even air conditioning may be required to keep temperature within recommended limits. The recommended working temperature range is 0 to 40 degrees Celsius. The recommended maximum installation site altitude is 1000 meters. The relative humidity should be less than or equal to 95%. The output of drive controllers derates at temperatures that exceed 40 degrees Celsius and altitudes that exceed 1000 meters. Use of IndraDrive controllers is not allowed if the temperature is more than 55 degrees Celsius or if the altitude is more than 4000 meters. The CDB01.1C-S3-EN2-EN2-NNN-MA1-NN-S-NN-FW includes integrated SERCOS III master communication. Plug in modules that are installed include analog I/O extension and two encoder modules with EnDat 2.1 interfaces. The drive firmware is ordered separately. The CDB01.1C-S3-EN2-EN2-NNN-MA1-NN-S-NN-FW is compatible with only a standard control panel and does not work with a comfort control panel.
