Rexroth Bosch Indramat, in a statement of relevance within the big leagues of industrial automation, designed and released the BTV30 product line of sophisticated machine control terminals. These MCTs are very operable, with almost full-PC capabilities and significant display options.

The CFG-BTV30.2P-TM-TC-NN-NN-NN-NN-NN-NN-NN being a variant of this product group (as shown in its type code) has all the extended capabilities they generally offer, along with the special features of its own integrated modules. Every BTV30 terminal is configurable to an extent, based on its function type and intended applications. This configuration is specified with the PC function type, which is inferred from its ‘2P’ code; this implies it is more like an industrial version of a personal computer. For the extra functionalities, it comes without the MTS-P and MTC-P specifications but with interfacing options.
