The BTM15.2-NA-VA-VA-TA-BA-2EA is a modular user panel from Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the BTM15 Machine Operator Panels series. It is fitted to machine fronts so operators can issue commands and monitor system states directly at the process. Through its configurable control surface, the panel sends discrete and diagnostic signals back to the supervisory PLC. This arrangement provides a compact, panel-mounted human-machine interface for motion systems, conveyors, and other automated equipment. Because the controls are mounted at the machine, routine commands and status checks can be handled without a separate console.

Its front face is finished in RAL 7035 light gray, a neutral shade that keeps status lamps legible under factory lighting. The compact footprint of 407 × 169 × 100 mm lets the housing sit on narrow machine doors without blocking access to nearby components. A molded gasket delivers IP65 protection on the operator side, so dust and water jets cannot reach the switches. Data exchange with the controller is handled by the INTERBUS-S fieldbus, giving deterministic scan times for real-time tasks. That communication path helps the PLC read local pushbutton states and drive indicator lamps with predictable timing. Internally, the panel presents 16 inputs and 16 outputs, enabling direct termination of pushbuttons, limit sensors, and pilot lights without separate terminal strips. The faceplate also incorporates a locking emergency-off button wired with two normally closed safety channels.

The rear section weighs just 2 kg, so it can be mounted on a lightweight swing frame without extra reinforcement. All backside terminals reside in plastic rated at IP00, so protection against accidental contact must be provided by the surrounding cabinet. The panel uses Design Index 2, which keeps the connector arrangement consistent with earlier BTM15 panels. Inside the rack, the blind-plate module of design A is mapped to slots 2 to 4. The remaining positions stay available for optional operator keys or additional communication cards. The low rear weight also reduces load on hinged support structures during repeated opening and closing.
