The BTM04.1-NA-TA-TA-BA-2FF-FW is a machine operator panel produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the BTM04 Machine Operator Panels series. Intended for cabinet front mounting, the unit brings together tactile command keys, discrete signal processing, and an integrated emergency-stop channel so operators can start, stop, and supervise automated machinery from a single point. Its modular construction allows input functions, safety circuitry, and blanking hardware to be combined in one enclosure, giving production lines a compact human-machine interface that communicates directly with the associated drive or PLC hardware.

The front keys use a Short-Stroke mechanism that limits travel distance and shortens actuation time. Uniform backlighting is supplied by LED sources mounted under each cap to maintain visibility when ambient light is low. The primary keypad contains 15 keys, providing a concise set of machine commands without crowding the panel face. For safety, the emergency push-button uses a 2 N/C closed contact arrangement, so a loss of power opens the loop. Behind the bezel, a carrier with 4 slots accepts functional boards that can be installed or exchanged without rewiring the entire panel.

Signal exchange with the machine controller is handled by a main board that provides 16 inputs and 16 outputs, supporting status feedback and command pulses over discrete lines. Slot 1 is fitted with an Emergency-Stop Module, allowing the panel to support immediate power isolation requirements.
