The BTM03.1-TA-TA-TA-TA-TA-TA-2FF-FW operator panel is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the BTM03 Machine Operator Panels series. As a compact human-machine interface, the unit provides push-button and keyboard interaction so a CNC or PLC can be commanded locally on the machine frame. It houses its electronic master board and modular keypad assemblies behind a sealed front plate, allowing operators to trigger cycles, acknowledge alarms, and select machine states without opening the control cabinet. It serves as a local control point in automated machining cells and packaging systems.

The master board accepts 16 digital inputs, allowing status signals such as sensor contacts or selector switches to be evaluated directly on the panel. It also provides 16 digital outputs so indicator lamps or audible buzzers can be driven without external I/O expansion. Internal back-plane wiring supports up to 6 module slots, allowing the user surface to match the machine’s functional scope. The factory configuration includes a writable keyboard in slot 1 and a writable keyboard in slot 2; both positions use membrane key arrays whose legends can be reprinted so the same electronics can match different machine functions. The removable modules connect through edge connectors, permitting fast replacement and reducing downtime.

The front panel has an IP65 rating and a powder-coated aluminum bezel that helps shield the electronics from oil mist and abrasive dust. A third auxiliary position uses a writable keyboard in slot 3, allowing custom keys for diagnostic functions, while the fixed keyboard in slot 4 provides dedicated emergency and reset functions. The sealed housing helps protect the internal electronics in demanding industrial areas. Replaceable keypad modules also allow the key layout to be updated when machine functions change.
