The BTM03.1-TA-BA-TA-SA-BA-VA-2FF-FW is an operator interface assembled by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the BTM03 Machine Operator Panels series. Mounted on machining centers, it supplies override and function controls that remain active regardless of the main computer state. The panel mixes keys and rotary scale switches so that operators can alter feed rate or spindle speed without opening software dialogs. Its modular front plate accepts standard Rexroth keyboard and switch modules, giving a fixed electrical footprint while allowing machine-specific key layouts for manual intervention in automated lines.

The front section contains 15 programmable keys arranged in the order defined by the module layout Keyboard/Blind/Keyboard/Spindle/Blind/Feed. Each key uses LED backlighting for status feedback, and the legends are writable so the machine builder can label functions in plain text. A short-stroke mechanism shortens travel and reduces operator fatigue. For the feed axis, a group of 3 dedicated switch keys selects percentage values from the rotary scale, while a secondary selector provides 16 feed-lock positions that freeze motion at the chosen point. The feed potentiometer is graduated in the series of 0–120 %, letting operators trim cutting advance from gentle jog to full rated rate without modifying NC code.

The spindle section mirrors the feed arrangement but is separated by two blind fillers that reserve space for future expansion; those inserts total 2 blind plates. Three spindle override switches provide coarse selection, and a lock ring supplies 16 spindle lock positions for repeatable setups. The graduated spindle scale spans 45–120 %, making it possible to slow tool speed for heat-sensitive materials or raise it within allowable limits. A parallel bank of 3 spindle switch keys quickly toggles those percentages. This arrangement keeps spindle adjustment separate from feed selection during manual operation.
