Mounted on the machine door or cabinet wall, it concentrates key safety, motion-adjustment, and data-entry functions in one front-end device. By routing hardwired signals from its modular front face to the controller, the panel lets operators issue immediate stop commands, alter programmed feed rates, or enter numeric values directly without accessing the control cabinet interior.

The panel conforms to Design 1, so its physical layout, cutout, and internal wiring scheme align with the first mechanical revision of the platform. It belongs to Line 3, identifying a third functional variant that sets specific backplane addressing. A rear backplane offers 6 slots for function modules, giving integrators room to combine safety and process controls on one housing.
