The BTM03.1-NA-TA-VA-SA-BA-HA-2FF-FW operator panel is supplied by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the BTM03 Machine Operator Panels series. Designed for CNC and general automation stations, the unit combines a membrane keyboard, override selectors, an E-stop interface, and a manual pulse generator so machine operators can issue real-time commands and react to process deviations. Its modular housing accepts six function inserts, allowing the emergency-stop, keyboard, feed and spindle overrides, blank filler, and handwheel hardware to be arranged at the factory in a fixed order for consistent workstation layouts.

The keyboard module in slot 2 provides 30 illuminated keys, with each short-stroke switch rated for rapid tactile feedback. The travel characteristic is Short Stroke, which minimizes operator fatigue during high-cycle input. Legends are Write-On, so button functions can be relabeled without replacing the switch caps. Safety is handled through the emergency-stop module; it routes two normally closed channels designated 2 N/C to the control safety circuit, fulfilling dual-channel shutdown requirements. Motion fine-tuning is managed by the feed override module, which indexes through 16 feed increments and lets the operator raise or lower feed rate in equal steps.

Additional modules round out the panel’s motion controls. The handwheel insert presents a graduated 0-100 scale, converting each detent of the pulse generator into proportional axis motion for jog moves. For spindle speed adjustment, the override selector offers 16 spindle steps, matching the feed override step count. The blank filler carries 3 LED blank keys that can be assigned to auxiliary functions or left inactive. Slot allocation starts with the Emergency-Stop Module, followed by the keyboard, feed override, spindle override, blank filler, and finally the handwheel module.
