Product Description:
The BTM03.1-NA-TA-VA-BA-BA-BA-2AA-FW machine operator panel is a human-machine interface from Bosch Rexroth Indramat in the BTM03 Machine Operator Panels series. The unit mounts on cabinet doors and provides push-button, key, feed-rate, and emergency-stop functions for direct connection to CNC or PLC systems on a machining center. By combining status indication with operator input in one fieldbus node, it allows manual commands and machine feedback to pass through a single front-panel assembly. This layout helps keep the operator interface centralized at the machine door while maintaining a compact control arrangement.
The panel uses Hardware Revision 1, which indicates the first hardware generation for the internal electronics and connectors. The keyboard section includes 15 keypad keys, and 15 keypad LEDs are positioned above them to provide clear visual feedback from controller signals. It also has an installed keypad module, so the membrane keypad is already fitted and wired inside the unit. A front-mounted potentiometer with an installed feed override lets the operator adjust programmed feed rates from the panel without opening the enclosure. This arrangement supports direct machine interaction from the front of the cabinet.
The enclosure includes 3 blank covers, leaving space for additional switches or functions if the panel layout is expanded later. For safety, the panel comes with an installed E-stop module, and the actuator operates 2 normally closed E-stop contacts that open the control circuit when the button is pressed. After an emergency stop, reset requires a deliberate twist-unlock release before operation can continue. The illuminated keypad and safety hardware are integrated into the same front assembly, which keeps the operating controls organized and easy to access. This arrangement supports standard machine-stop behavior while preserving a clear operator interface.
