As an HMI component, it provides physical controls and status feedback at the machine frame, allowing operators to start, stop, and adjust CNC- or PLC-driven processes directly on the production line. This arrangement keeps routine commands close to the work area and supports quick interaction during normal machine operation.

Inside the enclosure, the panel provides 6 module slots for functional plug-in boards. That layout lets the unit be configured for axis control, safety functions, or additional fieldbus gateways without changing the basic housing. External contaminants are resisted by the front housing's IP65 rating, so the panel can withstand dust and low-pressure water spray in industrial environments. To slow finish wear, the aluminum frame is powder-coated, which helps limit corrosion and scratching in high-cycle use.
