Product Description:
The BTM03.1-NA-TA-TA-BA-SA-VA-2FF-FW operator panel is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and belongs to the BTM03 Machine Operator Panels series. It serves as the human-machine interface on CNC and motion-control stations, giving the machine builder a pre-configured fascia for axis overrides, emergency stop, and data entry. Within an automation cell, the panel connects to the drive or PLC rack, allowing the operator to issue commands, view status LEDs, and engage safety functions without opening the electrical cabinet.
It contains 16 digital inputs and an equal number of digital outputs so that push-buttons, selector switches, and indicator lamps can be scanned and driven directly by the controller. All I/O and the fieldbus connector are arranged around a frame that accommodates 6 module slots, each factory-wired to the backplane. Slot 1 carries the dedicated Emergency-Stop Module, providing a normally closed safety circuit that drops power to drives when pressed. Slots 2 and 3 are populated with a writable keyboard module pair, allowing the OEM to apply custom legend markings for machine-specific functions. In slot 5, a spindle override module offers manual adjustment of commanded spindle speed through a potentiometric dial, which is useful during tooling trials or setup.
Slot 6 houses a feed override module, giving operators incremental control over feed rate without editing the NC program, while slot 4 is sealed by a blind plate so unused wiring remains protected. A chemically resistant powder-coated finish shields the metal front from coolant splash, and the entire enclosure carries an IP65 rating, meaning it is dust-tight and resists low-pressure water jets when it is correctly gasketed to the machine console. The modular front arrangement keeps key control functions in one enclosure and supports direct interaction with machine overrides and status devices.
