The BTM03.1-NA-TA-TA-BA-BA-HA-2FF-FW is a modular operator panel from Bosch Rexroth Indramat in the BTM03 Machine Operator Panels series. It is intended for front-panel installation on automated machinery and combines emergency stop, key entry, and manual pulse generation in one housing. This layout allows motion axes to be started, jogged, or safely halted without relying on a supervisory workstation. Its combined control elements support local operation at the machine when axis movement must be adjusted close to the work area.

In slot 1, the panel carries an emergency stop module with locking action. Once pressed, it must be twisted or pulled to release, which helps prevent inadvertent restart. The emergency stop uses 2 N/C contacts to provide redundant interruption paths for the safety relay. The aluminum front is sealed to IP65, blocking dust ingress and low-pressure water jets when the enclosure door is shut. Slots 2 and 3 hold a key module with 15 tactile keys. Each key uses a short-stroke mechanism that shortens actuation travel during repetitive commands. The keycaps are blank so machine-specific legends can be added, and slots 4 and 5 use blind plates to keep the unused positions covered and electrically isolated.

Slot 6 hosts the handwheel module. Feed rate or position changes are set with a locking knob that holds the selected increment in place during manual adjustment. The module also includes 3 pushbuttons with LEDs, so the operator can see button status when the associated PLC inputs are active. A graduated scale of 0 to 100 on the dial maps directly to percentage overrides or coarse distance pulses. Because each key cap is labelable, the same hardware can be assigned to different machine functions as operating needs change. The illuminated buttons provide visual confirmation without requiring attention to a separate display.
