The BTM03.1-NA-TA-BA-VA-SA-BA-2FF-FW operator panel is a human-machine interface manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the BTM03 Machine Operator Panels series. Designed for mounting on machine frames or control desks, the panel bridges numerical controls and shop-floor machinery by collecting operator commands and forwarding them to the drive or PLC. Its modular faceplate accepts dedicated override, emergency, and data-entry components so operators can adjust feed rates, start or stop spindles, and confirm machine status during automated cycles. This layout keeps frequently used controls at the front of the machine, where they can be reached quickly during normal production and setup changes.

The aluminum face is sealed to IP65, so dust and low-pressure water jets cannot reach the internal electronics from the front. A powder-coated housing resists abrasion and adds corrosion resistance in coolant-laden environments. The input module electronics operate at 24 VDC, allowing direct connection to common machine control circuits. All discrete inputs are routed through terminal blocks X28/X29, and the backplane provides 6 slots for functional modules or blind covers. Module allocation in this unit is preset for metal-cutting applications. The first bay contains the emergency-stop module, which routes a dual-channel stop circuit to downstream drives. Slot two carries a writable keyboard for data entry, while slot three and slot six use blind plates to close unused openings and keep the front arrangement orderly. Feed adjustment is handled by the feed override module, and spindle speed trimming is handled by the adjacent spindle override module. Diagnostic or parameter data can be exchanged with the CNC through connector X8, giving the panel a point-to-point service link that remains separate from the main machine network. This arrangement supports direct access to essential controls without crowding the active operating area.
