Product Description:
Bosch Rexroth Indramat builds the BTM03.1-NA-TA-BA-BA-TA-VA-2FF-FW operator panel for CNC and other automated equipment within the BTM03 Machine Operator Panels series. This panel serves as a local command station, combining fixed-function keys, an emergency-stop pushbutton, and a feed-override handwheel so spindle and axis motions can be supervised directly at the machine. Installed on the machine front, the unit provides standardized wiring, consistent labeling, and a protective front gasket for clean integration into modern control cabinets.
The emergency-stop circuit offers 2 N/C contacts, giving dual-channel redundancy for Category 0 or Category 1 shutdown schemes. For speed reduction, the feed-override knob provides 16 discrete positions mapped to a scale from 0-120% of programmed feed for milling applications. The sealed front face meets IP65, so coolant splash or airborne dust cannot reach the internal switch matrix. Two key modules furnish a total of 15 short-stroke keys, and each cap is writable so machine-specific functions can be assigned without replacing the hardware. The short-stroke mechanism keeps actuation travel low while preserving clear tactile feedback.
Internally, the panel is organized in six standardized slots. Slot 1 holds the Emergency-Stop Module, which routes the two normally closed channels to the safety relay. Slot 2 and Slot 5 each contain a Key Module, so function keys are split on both sides of the housing for ergonomic reach. Slot 3 and Slot 4 are equipped with a Blank Module, reserving space for future options such as USB receptacles or selector switches. Slot 6 carries the Feed Override Module, which converts knob rotation into incremental voltage signals compatible with Indramat drive controllers. This arrangement keeps the front layout orderly and supports different machine interface needs within the same housing format.
