The BTM03.1-BA-SA-TA-TA-VA-BA-2EA-FW operator interface is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and belongs to the BTM03 Machine Operator Panels series. It is a front-mounted human-machine interface that links shop-floor operators with numerical control or PLC equipment. By combining pushbuttons, keys, and rotary overrides in one rigid housing, the panel allows rapid adjustment of speeds, feeds, and alarm acknowledgments. This makes it the primary command point for manual interaction within an automated cell.

This BTM03 panel carries an enclosure rating of IP65, so dust is kept out and low-pressure water jets do not reach the internal electronics. A rear-mounted master board supplies 16 inputs and outputs, enabling direct wiring of limit switches, indicator lamps, or auxiliary handwheel encoders. The panel provides 2–4 master board slots, giving room for added fieldbus or memory options without changing the enclosure. This arrangement provides space for custom legends, an analog spindle-speed knob, and two tactile keypad areas for cycle start or soft-key functions. The onboard firmware recognizes the related signals through the integrated Master Board, eliminating the need for external adapters and helping maintain deterministic scan times. As a Machine Operator Panel, its mounting holes and cutout dimensions match standard cabinet doors.
