Product Description:

The BTA16.1 Operator Panel is a compact and reliable control interface. It supports industrial applications requiring efficient power usage, reliable data communication and durable operation. It is suitable for demanding environments with its broad voltage input range and protective features.

The BTA16.1 operator panel operates within a power supply range of 18 to 30 V and consumes a maximum current of approximately 1.0 A. The highest power consumption is around 18 W. The front panel is made of varnished aluminum that is chemically resistant and includes a polyester foil. It is rated IP65 for front side protection that offers resistance against dust and low pressure water jets. The operating temperature range for the panel is from + 5 °C to + 45 °C while the storage temperature supports conditions between - 20 °C and + 60 °C. The panel is light gray in color, coded as RAL 7035. The interface converter of this operator panel supports baud rates from 0 to 38400. It accepts RS232 input voltages between ± 5 V and ± 12 V and provides RS422 output voltages of 0/5 V with 5 V differential and a maximum current of 60 mA. There is also a + 5 V output available for bus connection that is rated up to 50 mA. These features ensure stable communication in control systems.

The Bosch Rexroth BTA16.1 operator panel includes a 30 pin terminal strip divided into three 10 pin groups (X1 – X3). It provides hard wired connection options for essential control elements such as emergency stop, enabling circuits and isolated contacts for standard built in elements. These elements can be connected from the bus to the terminal strip using jumpers.
