Product Description:
The Bosch Rexroth Indramat BTA10.1-NE is a plug-in machine control board designed for distributed automation panels. Within the BTA10 Machine Control Boards series, it coordinates operator commands with downstream drives and I/O modules, providing a compact interface between field devices and the higher-level PLC. The board accepts low-voltage logic power and exchanges serial data with connected equipment. Its protective housing makes it suitable for installation in factory-floor operator stations and industrial control cabinets.
This unit communicates with adjacent controllers through an RS-422 port, allowing differential serial signaling over shielded twisted-pair cables. Internal electronics operate from a nominal 24 V supply, so the board can share a common auxiliary bus with sensors and relays. The operator membrane has an IP65 front-panel rating, keeping dust and water jets away from the lacquered aluminum surface beneath the polyester foil overlay. Behind the panel, the stainless steel housing has an IP20 ingress protection rating, which is appropriate when the board is mounted inside a cabinet. The logic stages dissipate only 5 W of heat, limiting the additional cooling required inside the enclosure. The board has a light gray finish that follows the RAL 7035 color convention and provides a consistent appearance across machine fronts.
The rectangular housing measures 105 mm in depth, 169 mm in height, and 119 mm in width. These dimensions allow the board to fit into compact automation panels without requiring special spacers. Up to 6 units can be electrically linked, allowing a single operator panel to expand its local I/O capacity while maintaining coordinated communication. The stainless steel enclosure supports the stated heat dissipation without warping, and its mounting holes align with standard DIN rail adapters for secure installation.
