Product Description:
Bosch Rexroth Indramat manufactured the BTA10.1-ND control panel as part of the BTA10 Machine Control Boards series. The board functions as a decentralized operator station within industrial automation, allowing localized start, stop, and mode selection while forwarding signals to a supervisory PLC. It mounts on machine enclosures and uses its stainless-steel housing to shield internal circuitry from vibration and airborne contaminants. This design provides machine builders with an integrated interface that keeps wiring short and service access straightforward.
The board communicates with the controller over an RS-422 serial link, permitting point-to-point data transfers up to 1,200 meters without signal repeaters. Internal electronics draw 24 V DC, and the power input remains stable even when the supply varies by ±20%, which simplifies cabinet power distribution. A sealed bezel and polyester foil overlay combine with IP65 front protection so cleaning fluids and dust cannot reach the keys or indicator lamps. The installation depth is 105 mm, allowing placement in shallow door spaces, while passive convection manages the limited heat generated by the logic circuits.
The rear section is rated IP20, matching the ventilation requirements inside a closed cabinet while isolating live terminals from accidental contact. Total power dissipation does not exceed 5 W, so forced airflow is unnecessary. Up to 6 boards can be daisy-chained, supporting machines with multiple operator stations without additional concentrators. A physical width of 119 mm and a height of 169 mm allow the panel to fit standard 19-inch subracks. The lacquered aluminum front panel maintains dimensional stability during temperature changes. A RAL 7035 light gray finish aids visual differentiation of control zones, and the stainless-steel housing resists corrosion in humid production areas.
