ADS Servo Motors are a high-speed spindle-motor platform intended for direct-drive duty in machine tools.
Its design is centered on a precision spindle bearing arrangement and a high-resolution motor encoder to support stable, accurate spindle operation at high speed. Key integration features called out include a motor junction box, a dedicated feedback connection, and optional provisions such as a hollow shaft for tool coolant/lubricant routing along with motor cooling and sealing-air interfaces (when equipped). The intended application is a rotating direct drive with axial coupling to machine units such as spindle assemblies or tool turrets, with operating limits and maintenance/inspection requirements. Use outside those limits—such as coupling that loads the shaft radially or operating in environments that exceed the permitted protection/humidity conditions—can create hazardous situations and cause equipment damage.
