The ADP motors are asynchronous motors in the POWERDRIVE drive system by Bosch Rexroth. They feature squirrel-cage rotors and are available in varying degrees of power and torque. They are designed to serve as rotary main and servo drive motors. Their applications include machine tools, printing and paper processing machines, metal forming machines, and packaging and food processing machines.

The ADP164C-B35OB1-BS0H-B2N1 is one of the ADP asynchronous housing motor models by Bosch Rexroth. It has a frame size of 164 and a length of C. It is built to be suitable for either foot or flange mounting and has a vibration severity level indicated as R according to the requirements indicated in DIN ISO 2373. Like other motors in the series, this motor is cooled by surface cooling. It uses a permanently-installed axial fan unit that generates air currents that are directed over the surface of the motor by air baffles.
