The industrial-grade ADF132D-B05TA1-AS23-A2N1 electrical motor developed by Rexroth Indramat is a high quality motor that stands up to exceptional conditions such as variable speed range, thermal protection, high torque and extended service life. Having a successful history in industrial automation, this series of electrical motors are used in the textile industry, printing industry, general engineering machines and Computer aided pneumatic machines. The higher run quality and the backlash-free connection between shaft and hub are a significant advantage of this preferred and recommended design. The design incorporates plain output shaft without sealing ring.

The ADF132D-B05TA1-AS23-A2N1 series motors integrate NTC thermistor, blocking brakes and motor feedback to meet today’s industrial standardization.  Motor NTC thermistor is built into the motor winding, protecting the motor against overheating. The drive sends out an appropriate message if the motor is shut down for thermal reasons. Provided with integral holding brakes of 30 Nm which are electrically-engaged release. The electrically-released holding brake holds linear axes when at standstill and when the drive enable signal is not applied. No maintenance, as the main spindle motor works in accordance with induction principle. The ADF series motor are designed for flange mounted and owned by liquid cooling scheme. A primary black paint coat is applied to the motor housing.

The prime coat is resistant to weathering, chalky build ups and diluted acid and alkaline solutions. The motor feedback measures the rotor position and signals it to the drive, therewith regulating speed and rotor position. It functions with a resolution of 1/2 000 000^th revolution.
