Product Description

The ADF104C-B05TR1-CS07-A2N2 is a main spindle motor of the ADF series range. This unit can be used as a servo drive and a main spindle drive in application such as tool machines. These motors are often used in printing machines, textile industry, and plastics industry. Combined with a drive controller, they can be used in an application. These motors have a broad speed range and a broad field weakening range of 1:6.

The motor communicates rotor position with the drive enabling it to regulate speed and position. The motor’s feedback has a resolution of 1/2 000 000th revolution. The holding brake can be used to clamp the output shaft into position at standstill. This allows the main spindle to be put in a locked position within the machine tool. These motors are designed for flange mounting. The motor uses induction and it is therefore maintenance free.

A unique point of these motors is that they can be used at any elevation. These motors should be used from 0 degree C to 45 degree C to ensure correct operation. The motor offers IP 65 protection as per DIN 40050. The motor is protected from dust and it can also safely bear being sprayed by water. It comes with a primary black coat that is resistant to weak acid and alkalis. The bearing assembly of the ADF motors features deep grooved lubricated ball and cylindrical bearings. The mechanical service life of these bearings is around 20,000 working hours if the recommended radial load and speed is maintained. Please note that the holding brake of the motor is not a working brake. It will wear down after some time. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
