The 2AD132D-B05OC6-AS06-A2N1 is a 132D series motor that comes with a compact frame with a centering diameter of 132 mm where the radius of this motor allows it to be very compact and also helps the attached load be centered, preventing the servo motor from vibrating too much during high-speed operation. The motor is designed for flange type mounting which accommodates its high-speed rotation of 7500 rpm, preventing this motor from vibrating too much.
This motor can generate a respectable torque of 140 Nm while drawing 54 amperes of current along with a voltage rating for operation of 290 volts AC with a 3 phase configuration for the input voltage. To ensure this motor is compatible with global power systems, the 2AD132D-B05OC6-AS06-A2N1 comes with an operating voltage frequency rating between 50 to 60 Hz. This motor can operate at maximum operating mode where it can generate a lot of heat that may cause the motor to overheat and shutdown, but to ensure such high temperatures don't affect the operation, the 2AD132D-B05OC6-AS06-A2N1 comes with a 460 volts AC axial blower fan. This blower fan is able to push 1000 m3 of air into the motor enclosure to help cool the motor coil.
This servo comes with serial communication protocol that helps with communication between the motor controller and the motor encoder transmitting the position data back and forth. The encoder attached on this motor is an incremental encoder and is a multiturn encoder that can track multiple rotations allowing the servo to rotate past the 360-degree limit which is very helpful for robotics applications. The encoder on this motor requires 5 volts DC to operate and can draw up to 28 mA of current.
