Although the 2AD motors may not withstand high axial forces, they can drive heavy loads that apply a radial force component perpendicular to the motor shaft. As an example, the 2AD104D-B35OB1-FS1B-A2N1 can only withstand 30 N of axial force. Compared with its radial load tolerance, the motor’s axial load tolerance is significantly smaller. At 2000 rpm, the 2AD104D-B35OB1-FS1B-A2N1 can withstand a radial force component up to 3200 N. The permissible radial force depends on the motor’s grease life, speed, and the force’s point of application.
