The 2AD100D-B05OA2-AS03-B2N1 is a 2AD AC servo motor manufactured and designed by Rexroth Bosch. Every motor in the 2AD series has a specific length, dimension, and efficiency. The serial code is not based on random numbers, as each code field denotes a particular characteristic of the motor. The motors in this 2AD series share certain characteristics, such as squirrel cages, housed motors, and induction. A squirrel cage denotes the rotor's specific design, used in induction motors.

The rotor has a steel core in a cylindrical form, and the parallel bars are fixed along the length. All these parallel bars are connected at the end of the length and look like a cage or a closed loop. The length of this asynchronous motor is D and 100 in size. The simple, reliable, and user-friendly flange mounting (B05) is used. The output power supply connector is fixed at side A on the surface (top) of the motor. The axial blower is configured to ensure airflow is parallel to the rotor shaft.

The AS winding is utilized to guarantee that the motor runs efficiently. The driven shaft is balanced using the key; however, it is not protected by a sealing ring.
