The 2AD100D-B05OA2-AS03-A2N2 AC motor from the 2AD series is manufactured and designed by Indramat Motors. The 2AD motor is used in conveyor systems, wind turbines, and textile machinery. All the components of the motor are designed and manufactured according to international standards and guidelines. The motors of the 2AD series contain induction points, squirrel cages, and fixed blowers to prevent overheating and improve ventilation. The integration of the motor with the digitally controlled devices results in a high-power-density drive.

The induction motor of 100D dimension delivers continuous torque up to the rated speed (rated torque) without any derating. Only smooth flanges with drilled holes (B05) are used to simplify their integration and installation. The B05 type mounting is available because the output power connection is on the top (side A). There is no shaft end on side B. The standard bearings with smooth operation offer a combination of versatility and reliability. The value of the moment of inertia without holding brake is approximately 0.027 kg. The protection according to IP65 enables it to withstand the water jets of low pressure and the highest degree of dust protection.

The rotor used in it is of the squirrel cage type, as the rotor assembly resembles a wheel or cage. Maintaining the motor's temperature is essential to achieving optimal performance. The highly sensitive temperature sensors (NTC thermistors) are installed in the winding for this purpose. Even a slight temperature variation can be detected by the NTC thermistor.
