The 2AD100C-B05OA2-AS03/S005 is an induction motor model in the 2AD series designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. Its operational reliability is enhanced by the presence of NTC thermistors in its windings. These thermo-sensitive elements protect the motor from irreversible damage due to thermal overload and send error messages after initiating protective mechanisms. The 2AD model has high-resolution feedback for position detection and reaches a maximum speed of 9,000 revolutions per minute. It is equipped with an axial blower generating an air stream from side A to side B. These air currents are guided through shrouds over the motor’s surface to ensure efficient heat elimination. The motor utilizes a nominal current of 27A and a nominal voltage of 168V.

With the frame shape of the 2AD100C-B05OA2-AS03/S005, flange mounting is recommended according to IEC 34-7. Its rotor is the squirrel-cage type with a moment of inertia of 0.021 kgm². The highly durable rotor allows the motor to perform optimally without damage due to mechanical stress. It also guarantees the efficient conversion of electrical energy into mechanical energy during the motor’s operation. Like other asynchronous motors in the 2AD series, this motor has minimal maintenance requirements. It should be operated at a maximum ambient temperature of 45^oC and installed at a maximum height of 1,000m above sea level.
