The 1MR375B-A170 is a rotor for 1MB motors with a frame size of 375 and length B. It features a rotor design with a step face interference fit. It also has a multiple die press group that engages it with the spindle and a completely processed outer rotor diameter. Power loss from the frameless spindle motor occurs in the rotor, and the heat generated is removed through the stator’s air gap. Its moment of inertia is 1.39 kgm^2, and it weighs 106kg while its inner diameter is 170mm. Its Ingress Protection rating according to IEC 60529 is IP 00, which means that it should not be used in a damp or foggy atmosphere to prevent damage.

On delivery, the 1MR375B-A170 is coated with a removable form of lacquer that protects it from corrosion during transport. Although it should be removed before being set up, it can be reapplied after to lengthen its service life. The spindle connected to this rotor has fitting surfaces with graduated diameters that allow the rotor to be removed safely. With its frameless motor, this rotor requires an ambient temperature between 0^oC and 40^oC and a maximum installation height of 1000m above sea level.
