The maintenance-free frameless spindle motors of the 1MB series are components of the future-proof Rexroth IndraDrive drive system. The 1MR160E-A060 is a rotor of the 1MR series designed for the 1MB frameless spindle motors by Bosch Rexroth. It is built for the 1MB motor with a frame size of 160 and frame length E. It has a moment of inertia of 0.015 kgm² and weighs 10.2kg.  The balancing rings in front of the rotor have tapped holes, and they are used to balance the motor with the spindle. This ensures that the desired vibration severity grade of the spindle is achieved. This vibration severity grade complies with the DIN VDE 0530 specification, and the required grade depends on the finishing accuracy of the motor spindle. The rotor also features a sleeve with a laminated core.

The safe removal of the 1MR160E-A060 can be achieved thanks to the graduated fitting surfaces on the spindle. These fitting surfaces have slightly graduated diameters, and they align the mounted rotor to the spindle. Both components are frictionally engaged by the multiple die press group. This 1MR rotor model belongs to the protection category IP 00, indicating that it is susceptible to damage by solid extrinsic objects and water jets. Hence, its operation requires the use of protective seals, especially when this is done in foggy or damp atmospheres.
