The ZS2020-4308 is a compact power-distribution accessory manufactured by Beckhoff within the ZS Motion Accessories series. Designed for decentralized machine layouts, the unit supplies multiple actuators or sensors from a single field-mounted point, eliminating individual home-run cables back to a control cabinet. By combining power routing and localized protection in a sealed body, it streamlines wiring tasks and supports modular motion assemblies common in conveyors, pick-and-place stations, and other industrial automation cells.

Electrically, the module operates from a nominal bus of 24 V DC and can pass up to 4 A on each US or UP segment, allowing branch circuits for drives, brakes, or sensors without exceeding device limits. The block provides 8 individually fused outputs, giving designers a straightforward way to separate loads while keeping current paths short. With a protection rating of IP65/66/67, the housing blocks dust ingress and resists high-pressure water jets, so it can be mounted directly on moving axes or tooling.
