The ZS2020-2820 is a circular power connector socket produced by Beckhoff within the ZS Motion Accessories series. As a female 7/8-inch interface, it is installed on motor cables, sensors, and distributed I/O boxes to deliver supply lines and feedback signals in automated machinery. The component provides the mating point between field wiring and motion equipment, allowing connection and disconnection without rewiring control panels.
Its mechanical profile follows the industry-standard thread of 7/8"-16 UN, so it mounts into bulkheads or device housings without additional adapters. The housing is formed from PA6 GF, a glass-fiber-reinforced polyamide that resists vibration and common lubricants encountered near moving axes. Electrical distribution is organized through a 5-pin layout that separates protective earth, supply, and signal conductors. When operated at the declared load, the connector carries 16 A at 40 °C, and its dielectric spacing supports up to 250 V AC or DC between contacts.
