The ZS2001-0002 is a compact connector element produced by Beckhoff for the ZS Motion Accessories series. Serving as a detachable wiring interface for servo axes and terminal blocks, it allows quick exchange of pre-assembled motor or sensor leads during service without soldering. In industrial automation panels, it links motion components to the I/O bus while helping maintain consistent contact quality. Its compact form also suits crowded control cabinets where organized cable routing and easy access to plug-in connections are important.

The connector uses 10-pin geometry, so ten discrete signals or supply lines can pass through one plug body. Each path is rated for 2 A at 20 °C, which suits low-power encoder, brake, or sensor circuits, and a working limit of 50 V matches common control voltages used around motion hardware. Dielectric integrity is supported by an insulation resistance of 1 GΩ, which helps reduce leakage between adjacent contacts that carry different potentials. During assembly, the connector requires 8 N per pole to seat the CuZn female contacts against the mating blades. The contacts are mounted in a PBT carrier, the body is gray for easy visual grouping, shielding is omitted to save space, and an LED on the housing provides quick status indication.

The housing has an IP20 rating, so the connector is intended for installation inside an enclosure when dust or moisture are present.
