The ZS1090-1006 is a circular field connector manufactured by Beckhoff for the ZS Motion Accessories series. It provides a detachable link between servo drives, decentralized I/O stations, and end-of-arm tooling. The body uses a nickel-plated copper-zinc alloy that withstands mechanical stress while keeping weight low. By allowing cable harnesses to be assembled or repaired without specialized molding equipment, the connector supports quick maintenance in industrial automation cells.
Its environmental sealing is rated IP67 (screwed), meaning the connector is dust-tight and resistant to temporary immersion when the coupling nut is tightened. The connector carries up to 4 A at 40 °C, so low-power motors, proximity sensors, or brake circuits can be supplied without overheating the conductors. Line voltage is limited to 50 V AC/60 V DC, aligning with extra-low-voltage control networks. The installation thread is M8, a compact size that fits dense machine panels and miniature actuators.
