Product Description:
The ZK7A26-3031-0060 motor cable is supplied by Beckhoff as part of the ZK Motor Cables series. The assembly provides a preterminated link between a Beckhoff servo drive and its corresponding motor, allowing power, encoder data, and real-time fieldbus signals to share one rugged connection. By bundling multiple conductors in a single sheath, the product simplifies cabinet wiring, reduces installation time, and helps maintain electromagnetic compatibility across automated lines that rely on precise position control. Its dimensional and electrical profile supports dynamic applications inside pick-and-place units, packaging machines, and machining centers.
The cable is supplied in a fixed length of 6.00 m, allowing drives to be mounted at a predictable distance from the actuator without field cutting. Power conductors are insulated for up to 630 V AC / 850 V DC, so the lead set can carry the power levels used in compatible Beckhoff drive systems. Control pairs have a cross-sectional area of 0.34 mm² (AWG 22), balancing low voltage drop with the flexibility needed for continuous movement in cable carriers. A full 360° braid and foil shield encloses all cores, diverting high-frequency noise away from encoder channels and reducing interference between signal and power conductors. The cable meets IP65 / IP67 ingress protection requirements, allowing direct routing through washdown areas and dusty enclosures when the connectors are properly installed.
Signal integrity for distributed servo networks is maintained by Cat. 5-rated twisted pairs that terminate at the EtherCAT connection. The motor-side M23 connector includes four dedicated EtherCAT pins, allowing cyclic process data to travel alongside the power phases without requiring a separate network cable. A bayonet locking ring secures the plug with a quarter turn and helps prevent loosening caused by machine vibration. To prevent mismating, the connector housing uses the Beckhoff mechanical interface designated as Key 3, so the cable can connect only to a compatible keyed interface.
