Product Description:
The ZK7A26-3031-0019 is a motor supply and signal cable produced by Beckhoff for the ZK Motor Cables series. It links an EtherCAT P servo axis to its control cabinet interface, carrying drive power and real-time network traffic through a single molded assembly. By combining voltage and data conductors in one sheath, the cable reduces the number of separate connections required in decentralized automation layouts. This arrangement also supports deterministic communication between compatible motion components while keeping machine wiring compact.
Inside the overmolded connectors, power and communication are routed across 4 EtherCAT P pins that match the fieldbus interface. The differential pairs meet the electrical requirements of Cat.5 Ethernet, allowing 100 Mbps signaling to remain stable over the permitted cable length. Each data conductor has a maximum cross-sectional area of 0.34 mm² (AWG22), balancing low signal attenuation with the flexibility required for repeated movement in cable carriers. The motor supply insulation can withstand up to 630 V AC/850 V DC, allowing the same cable assembly to supply compatible mid-range servo motors without separate high-voltage wiring. The molded construction protects the internal conductor terminations from strain at the connector entries.
The rectangular plug has installation size B23, allowing it to align with compatible Beckhoff drive receptacles without an additional adapter. Its keying elements use mechanical coding 3, which prevents accidental connection to adjacent sensor or I/O ports with different coding patterns. When fully connected and latched, the housing provides IP65/IP67 ingress protection against dust, low-pressure water jets, and temporary immersion. The connector insert uses user-configurable voltage coding, allowing the final pin assignment to accommodate the power arrangement required by the application. This coding remains physically separate from the mechanical keying that controls connector compatibility.
