The ZK7000-0101-0050 is a preassembled hybrid communication lead produced by Beckhoff for the ZK Motor Cables series. Designed for distributed drive topologies that rely on EtherCAT P, the cable conveys both data and auxiliary power between control cabinets and field-mounted modules. By combining signal and low-voltage supply in one shielded line, it streamlines wiring in automated machinery and keeps installation points compact. This format also suits machine sections where separate power and communication cables would take up more space around actuators and remote I/O.
The outer jacket is made of PUR, allowing resistance to oils, abrasion, and weld spatter during continuous motion. Conductor grouping follows a 1x4xAWG22 layout, and the four conductors support differential signaling while keeping resistance low. Both cable ends carry the EtherCAT-P coding so devices recognize combined 24 V supply and data on a single port. Each molded plug uses the compact M8 connector size with a straight form that simplifies feed-through on narrow actuator housings.
